Tropical dream: mango, passion fruit & coconut smoothie

Smoothies have the advantage to be prepared quickly and be nutritious in addition to being beautiful and delicious. Thus, they are the perfect solution for me when I want an easy to prepare and tasty breakfast. This tropical flavour smoothie invites you to dream of sunshine and palm trees. The tangy freshness of mango and passion fruit combine with the sweetness of coconut milk for a tasty and beautiful result.Start your day with plenty of fruit! Mango, passion fruit and orange are packed with fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants. Coconut milk is an excellent source of iron, copper, manganese, phosphorus and selenium. It will feel good to your body as much as your palate ;-). You can also offer this smoothie as a soft drink to your guests. It will be an original and tasty alternative to soft drinks and fruit juices from the market.

Use ripe and wrinkled passion fruit to ensure the taste is not too acidic. Always use freshly squeezed orange juice to make this smoothie: pasteurized fruit juices that are found in csupermarkets have neither the nutritional value nor the taste of a fresh fruit juice. To make the most of this vitamin smoothie, drink it quickly after preparation.

Serves 2

  • 1 large mango
  • 3 passion fruits
  • 2 oranges
  • 125 ml coconut milk


  1. Cut the passion fruits in half. Take the flesh with a spoon.
  2. Sieve passion fruit flesh to separate the seeds from the juice. Keep the seeds for decoration if desired, or discard.
  3. Squeeze the oranges.
  4. Peel the mango, cut into big dices.
  5. Blend the orange and passion fruit juice, the pieces of mango and coconut milk.
  6. Poor into nice glasses, decorate and enjoy!
