Spring Detox – Yoga & Nutrition

Hello everyone,

I have very exciting news! I am going to partner with Luc Tranchet to offer a cycle of 4 Yoga & Nutrition workshops inspired by the 4 seasons, their energy and the way the influence our body and mind.

At the beginning of each season, Luc will guide us through a yoga practice. We will then have a light and healthy breakfast while I will share practical tips to improve your lifestyle and nutrition according to the new starting season.

These workshops are based on Ayurveda principles, a traditional holistic medicine from India, which name means “science of life”. Ayurveda considers the Universe in made of five elements or principles: ether, air, fire, water and earth.

These elements combine to form three fundamental energies:

  • Vata (ether & air) – kinetic energy
  • Pitta (fire & water) – transformation energy
  • Kapha (water & earth) – cohesion energy

Ayurveda considers every individual have the three fundamental energy within them, but that the variability in proportions makes each of them unique. The dominant dosha of an individual define their trends, strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, Ayurveda allows to maintain health through nutrition, massage, breathing, phytotherapy and yoga. It recommends a lifestyle in coherence with one’s constitution as well as Nature’s cycles (seasons, day/night).

Spring: Natures’ awakening

In Switzerland, spring weather is cool and humid. Kapha dosha and related qualities – stillness, slowness, stability – have accumulated during winter and are still dominant. The arrival of spring and its fresh freshness is an invite to waking up the body and mind, eliminating the excess of Kapha and toxins accumulated during the winter.

In the workshop dedicated to spring, we will invite you out of winter sluggishness, stimulate your liver and your gallbladder to detoxify your body gently and deeply. Luke will guide you through a yoga practice that will awaken your body gently, then I will share lifestyle and Ayurvedic diet tips adapted to spring season, while enjoying a light breakfast created especially for this event.

Place & Date

Each seasonal workshop will be organised twice over the same weekend, so more people can enjoy it : Saturday at Studio Pilates et Yoga, 175 route du Mandement, Satigny; Sunday at Foound, Rue Dassier 7, Genève.

Workshops will be held from 7:30 to 9:30.

  • Spring – Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th March
  • Summer – Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th June
  • Autumn – Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September
  • Winter – Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December


1 workshop: 50 CHF

4 workshops: 180 CHF (whole cycle)
